Build A Football Team Guides Hub
First lobby to a linked 4-3-3 — every walkthrough on this wiki.
Build A Football Team (listed on Roblox as Build A Soccer Squad by Bloxheed) is a live, free-to-play squad builder. You share a 25-player lobby, roll fictional footballers from 1970 to today, and lock a 4-3-3 Starting XI. This hub is the map. Open Getting Started if you just loaded in, then pick the mechanic you are stuck on. Every guide below is written for the live Early Beta lobby, not a pre-release checklist.
Codes, shops, and Cup Mode all sit on the same lobby floor. Read a guide, then jump back here when the next bottleneck is a different system.
First-hour walkthroughs
The Getting Started page is the first-session route. Finish the tutorial, tap the CODES button in the bottom-right, and claim the live strings before you spend a Reroll. Learn the lobby stack — Build Your Squad, Codes, Rewards, Quests, Coin Shop, Hourly Shop — then fill eleven slots without burning currency on the first ugly pick. The page also tells you when to stop rolling and leave the session with a legal XI.
How to Play is the control and flow guide. Each roll locks a country and a year. You pick one card from the offer, park it on a 4-3-3 slot, and decide whether to keep the pool or restart. Desktop, mobile, and console all use the same loop; only the buttons move. Device-specific traps — Auto Reveal, the CODES button under a thumb, 8-hour console AFK — live on controls. Save the squad, check the leaderboard, and walk the plaza if you want to flex a card above your head. Use that page when you know the lobby but keep mis-tapping Reroll versus Refresh.
Those two pages are enough to stop leaking currency. They are not enough to clear Cup Mode. Chemistry and OVR live in the next section.
Chemistry, cups, and captains
The chemistry guide is the most important mechanic page on the wiki. Natural position is the first rule. Shared nation, league, and club tags between neighbors are the second. Lines paint green or blue when the link is strong and grey when it is dead. Secondary positions exist so a linked card can stay on the pitch. Community testers also report that a goalkeeper cannot go full blue — treat that as reported, not as a hidden official tooltip. Read this before you chase raw OVR.
Cup Mode opens at 93 OVR with chemistry counted. The eleven locks for the tournament. Matches are simulated in 3D from a round of 32. Five cup wins unlock the 105+ standout cards and the extra kits. A grey-linked 96 often loses to a green-linked 93, which is why this guide sits next to chemistry instead of next to the shop.
How to Get Captains covers the 99 OVR cards that drop when you finish a full 2026 nation set in the Rewards tab. Priority nations on this wiki are Brazil, England, Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, and the USA. Premium captains come from select 2002 teams. The whole point of that page is one finished grid, not eight half-filled ones.
Farming and the 100+ eleven
How to Farm is the currency loop: 8-hour quest timers, the Coin Shop versus rolling, 2x reward weekends, and the community habit of banking about 200 Rerolls and 200 Refreshes before a dream-team push. Use it when your XI is legal but your wallet is empty.
The Hourly Shop guide is when to spend coins on Prime 100+ rotations instead of dumping Refreshes into a pack. Pair it with the Prime cards class page so a 101 tourist does not bench a linked 99.
The best team guide explains how a free-to-play 100+ OVR 4-3-3 is actually built. Talk in roles — ST, LW, RW, the three CMs, LB, two CBs, RB, GK — and in card types: captains, Hourly Shop Primes, Cup standouts, Limitbreakers, and GOAT Edition. It does not publish a fake named superstar XI, because every athlete in this game is fictional and the pool rotates.
Codes, lists, tools, and patches
Guides are the how. The rest of the wiki is the what and the when. Claim strings on the codes hub, follow how to redeem, and learn the difference between a Reroll and a Refresh on Rerolls and Refreshes. Compare card bands on the tier list, card tiers, and best players. Collection pages live under players, including captains, Prime cards, Limitbreakers, and GOAT Edition. Sketch a pitch on the team planner and hunt the leak with the OVR checklist. Patch context is on updates, GOAT XI, 2030 Future Stars, and patch notes. Official Roblox links sit on the links hub. Scripts, if you choose to use them, are isolated under scripts.
Pick one guide, finish the action it names, then come back. The lobby does not reward reading every page in one sitting. It rewards a filled 4-3-3, green lines, and a stack of unused Rerolls when the next GOAT drop lands.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common squad-building questions.
Which guide should I open first in Build A Football Team?
Open Getting Started on a new account. Claim codes before you roll, then read how to play if the country-and-year loop still feels unclear.
Do I need chemistry before Cup Mode?
Yes. The 93 OVR gate includes chemistry. A linked 90 often clears the door sooner than a mixed 94. Read the chemistry guide and the Cup Mode guide together.
Where do captains, Primes, and GOAT cards fit?
Captains are 99 OVR from a finished 2026 nation set. Primes are 100+ in the Hourly Shop. GOAT Edition sits above Limitbreakers after the August 2026 GOAT XI drop. The best team guide shows how those card types sit in a 4-3-3.
Is this wiki only for PC?
No. The experience is live on Roblox for PC, mobile, and console in a shared 25-player lobby. How to Play covers the same roll loop on every device.
What should I read after the guides?
Claim codes, check the tier list, and sketch the eleven on the team planner. Patch notes live under updates.
