Build A Football Team Tools Hub
A printable 4-3-3 board and a 93 OVR checklist — not a JavaScript app.
Build A Football Team does not ship a clipboard. The lobby HUD shows the pitch, the shop, and two currency meters. It does not show “this RB is why you are 90” or “your three mids share no nation.” This hub is two paper tools written as markdown: a 4-3-3 team planner you copy before you roll, and an OVR checklist you run when the rating stalls. They are not scripts and not a web app. The content is the tool.
Use them after you redeem codes and before you dump Rerolls. The game is live in Early Beta on a 25-player lobby. Empty slots and dead chemistry lines still tank Squad OVR even when a 99 floats above your head.
What the planner is for
The planner is a blank 4-3-3:
- Front: LW, ST, RW
- Mid: CM, CM, CM
- Back: LB, CB, CB, RB
- GK
You write a name, nation, league, and OVR in each cell before the shop tempts you. The point is to decide the league core and the nation layer on paper so a Prime from the wrong continent does not steal a slot you needed for links. Captains sit in a marked cell because a 99 with built-in links is wasted if auto pick or a panic Reroll replaces it. Cup eligibility is a checkbox list on that same page so you do not queue at 92.
Copy the tables into notes, a screenshot, or a second monitor. Then follow how to play and the chemistry guide while you fill cells. The best team and best players pages tell you who is worth a Refresh; the planner tells you where that player goes.
What the checklist is for
The checklist is a diagnosis, not a formation. When the HUD says 90 and Cup wants 93, you walk empty slots, the lowest position group, chemistry lines, the 93 gate, the 200/200 bank, and captain progress. It tells you which slot to Refresh and whether to enter Cup Mode or keep farming. Pair it with how to farm and Cup Mode.
If a script filled the eleven while you were AFK, run the checklist before you trust the UI. Auto pick best lies. Empty RB plus a 96 ST is still a 90 squad.
When to open which page
| Situation | Open |
|---|---|
| First lobby session, no XI | Team planner then getting started |
| You know the formation but rating will not move | OVR checklist |
| Shop looks good and you are about to Refresh | Checklist “do not Refresh a row you like,” then Rerolls and Refreshes |
| You want a captain | Planner captain slot plus how to get captains |
| You are 93 and restless | Checklist Cup timing, then Cup Mode |
There is no third tool. We do not ship a drag-and-drop pitch in the browser. A markdown table survives a phone, a patch, and a dead executor. If you need live card ranks, that is the tier list and card tiers hub, not this category.
How these tools connect to the rest of the wiki
Codes feed the bank. The planner spends the bank on purpose. The checklist stops you spending the bank on the wrong slot. Updates such as GOAT XI change which names you pencil into the front three; they do not change the 4-3-3 shape. Limitbreakers and GOAT Edition still occupy one cell each. Official Roblox and group links sit on the links hub.
If you came here expecting a calculator, use the checklist math instead: eleven filled slots, linked neighbours, no 70-rated full-back hiding under a 99 ST, bank not overflowing, captain not sitting on the bench. That sequence is how a 90 becomes a 93 without another 50-stack of Rerolls.
Open the planner when the pitch is empty. Open the checklist when the number is wrong. Do not Refresh until one of those pages has named the slot. The tools category is deliberately small so the next click is either a 4-3-3 grid or a leak hunt — not another hub that restates guides in a different order.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common squad-building questions.
Are these interactive web tools?
No. They are markdown tables and checklists. Copy them into notes. There is no JavaScript pitch app on this wiki.
Which tool do I use first?
The team planner if you do not have a legal 4-3-3. The OVR checklist if you have eleven players and the rating is stuck under 93.
Does the planner replace the chemistry guide?
No. The planner is the board. The chemistry guide explains nation, league, and club links. Fill the board with those rules.
Can I use the checklist after an auto farm?
Yes. You should. Scripts fill faces; the checklist finds empty slots, dead lines, and whether Cup Mode is actually open.
Where do captains go on the planner?
In a marked Starting XI cell, not on the bench. A 99 captain with built-in links is wasted if a Reroll replaces it. See the team planner page.
