Build A Football Team Rerolls and Refreshes

Replace one pick, reshuffle the shop, and never sit on a full 200/200 bank.

Rerolls and Refreshes

Every live promo string in Build A Football Team pays the same two currencies: Rerolls and Refreshes. They are not cosmetics, not pack tickets, and not a shortcut to a named captain. They are the only reason the codes hub exists. This page is what each meter does, when to tap it, and why the 200/200 bank turns a lazy redeem into a deleted payout.

The game is live in Early Beta on a 25-player lobby. You will see both counters on the HUD once the intro is done. If you have not redeemed yet, follow how to redeem first, then come back here before you dump a 50-stack into the first ugly card you see.

Rerolls replace one pick

A Reroll throws away the player currently on offer and draws another for that same decision. It does not reshuffle the whole shop. It does not move a card you already locked into the Starting XI. Use it when the pick in front of you is off-position, off-nation, or so low that it will drag Squad OVR under the 93 Cup gate.

Do not Reroll a slightly lower card that links. A 88 with two chemistry lines often beats a 94 that sits alone on an island. The chemistry guide and the card tiers list are the filter; the Reroll button is only the hammer. If you are filling a legal 4-3-3, park the chemistry piece and Reroll the isolated high card instead.

Smart sequencing:

  1. Fill empty slots first. An empty position tanks chemistry harder than a mediocre starter.
  2. Reroll the lowest position group (both centre-backs, or the three mids) rather than your shiny striker.
  3. Stop when the slot is legal and linked, not when the face rating looks like a thumbnail.

Scripts that promise “smart free reroll” try to automate that discipline — see auto farm — but the rule is the same whether a human or a loop presses the button: never spend Robux on a Reroll you can wait out, and never Reroll a linked piece because a random Prime appeared.

Refreshes reshuffle the shop

A Refresh rebuilds the shop row or offer set in front of you. Prime cards rotate in the Hourly Shop. Limitbreaker and GOAT Edition names show up as rare offers, not as code loot. Refresh is how you reroll the menu, not a single pick.

The one rule that saves more OVR than any code: do not Refresh a shop you like. If the row already has a nation you are collecting, a league core you sketched on the team planner, or a captain you still need, walk away. The next Refresh can replace a usable 91 with three unlinked 80s. Hourly rotation will change the row on a timer; your Refresh stack will not come back if you panic-tap.

Refresh when:

  • The entire row is off-league and off-nation for your XI.
  • You are hunting one position (a left back, a keeper) and every offer is another striker.
  • You have diagnosed the leak with the OVR checklist and the shop simply does not stock that slot.

Do not Refresh because a Limitbreaker or GOAT Edition came off cooldown in a video. Wait for the actual row. If the current offers already serve the eleven, bank the currency.

The 200/200 bank

Both meters cap at 200. That is a hard ceiling, not a soft display. If you redeem GOAT (50+50) while sitting on 180/180, you do not keep 230. You keep 200 and the rest vanishes, and the code still marks as used. Spend down before you tap the codes box, or at least spend enough that 50 of each can land.

Practical cap math:

  • Redeem the six live codes only when each meter has 50 free. GOAT, FUTURE, and UNIVERSE each pay 50/50.
  • CONSOLE pays 25 Rerolls and 25 Refreshes.
  • LIMITBREAKER is 25+25. DOUBLE is 20+20.
  • After a long AFK farm, check the counters before you paste anything. A full bar is a warning, not a flex.

The same cap applies to quest payouts. If a daily dump would overflow, spend first.

Quest sources besides codes

Codes are the burst. The steady drip is quests, dailies, and the loop on how to farm. Those sources still pay Rerolls and Refreshes, just slower. Treat them as the way you refill after a chemistry rebuild, not as a reason to ignore the redeem box.

Order of operations for a new lobby session:

  1. Check both counters. If either is near 200, spend on the diagnosed slot.
  2. Redeem live codes with headroom.
  3. Run quests.
  4. Only then open the shop with a plan from the best team page or the best players list.

Captains still come from finishing a 2026 nation set, not from Refresh spam. If you are chasing a 99 face, read how to get captains and spend Rerolls on the missing nation slots, not on random Prime strikers.

Spend versus save

Save when the eleven is legal, linked, and sitting at 92 waiting on one slot — that is a Refresh problem, not a Reroll panic. Save when the Hourly Shop already shows your league core. Save when you are one quest away from a captain piece.

Spend when a slot is empty. Spend when two neighbouring mids share nothing and you have a common-nation pile in the club. Spend when you are 90 OVR with a 70-rated full-back dragging the line, which the OVR checklist will flag in one pass.

Cup Mode locks the squad you enter with. Do not enter at 93 with a Refresh stack you were about to spend on the weak full-back. Fix the line, then walk through the Cup Mode gate.

A Reroll is a scalpel for one pick. A Refresh is a reshuffle of the whole counter. The 200/200 cap is the only bank this game gives you, and overflowing it after a GOAT redeem is the most expensive free mistake in the lobby. Leave a shop you already like alone, spend on the slot the checklist names, and treat both meters as Cup tools rather than fidget buttons.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common squad-building questions.

What is the difference between a Reroll and a Refresh?

A Reroll replaces one player pick. A Refresh reshuffles the shop or offer row. Codes pay both. Do not Refresh a row that already fits your chemistry plan.

What is the 200/200 cap?

You can hold 200 Rerolls and 200 Refreshes. Extra payouts from codes or quests vanish if you redeem while full, and the code still counts as used.

Should I Reroll a high-OVR card that does not link?

Usually yes if the slot is your leak. A linked 88 often beats an isolated 94. Check chemistry and the OVR checklist before you tap.

When should I avoid Refresh?

When the current shop already has your nation, league core, or a captain piece. Hourly rotation will change the row; a panic Refresh can erase a usable Prime.

Do quests give the same currencies as codes?

Yes, slower. Codes are the burst; quests and the farm loop refill after you spend. Both hit the same 200/200 bank.

Does LIMITBREAKER give a Limitbreaker card?

No. The code pays 25 Rerolls and 25 Refreshes. Limitbreaker cards still come from offers and the pool, not from the redeem box.
