How to Farm

Farming in Build A Football Team is how a free-to-play lobby turns into a 93 OVR door and then a 100+ eleven. You are not grinding a campaign. You are filling three wallets: coins, Rerolls, and Refreshes. Coins buy specific faces from the Coin Shop. Rerolls leave a bad country. Refreshes reshuffle a good one. Codes dump a one-time stack into those wallets. Quests refill them on a timer. This page is the loop. If you have not claimed the live strings yet, stop and open the codes hub. If you do not know which button is which, open Getting Started.

The experience is a shared 25-player lobby on Roblox. AFK farming still happens on a live server. It is not single-player. It is not split-screen. Stay in the lobby you intend to farm; jumping into Cup Mode mid-timer is how community farmers report losing quest progress.

Quest timers and the Coin Shop

Open Quests from the lobby stack (the red-style button on the right in current builds). Timers run on the order of 8 hours. Sit in the experience, let the clock move, and collect coins, Rerolls, and Refreshes when the row completes. Early Beta has already changed quest length once — older videos still talk about two-hour rows. Trust the timer on your screen, not a July screenshot. If the UI shows eight hours, you are farming an eight-hour row.

Practical quest rules:

  • Start the timer before you go do something else. The row does not begin until the quest is open and the session is live.
  • Do not treat a cup entry as “still playing.” Community reports say the cup server can reset lobby quest progress. Claim or finish the row, then queue for cups.
  • 2x reward weekends multiply what the row pays. When the Roblox title or the lobby banner shows 2X, that is the weekend to leave the client on. DOUBLE as a code was tied to a 2x event historically; the live list still sits on codes.
  • Scripts exist. The scripts hub and auto farm pages describe community loaders. They can break on patches and they can risk the account. This guide assumes you are farming legally with the client open.

Coins versus rolling. Completing a full XI still pays coins. Higher linked OVR pays more per build. That is active income. Quests are passive income. The Coin Shop on the lobby floor sells named cards for coins. When you are finishing a 2026 nation for a captain, buying the last two holes is almost always cheaper than Rerolling twenty times for the same faces. When you are hunting a random highlight, rolling is a tax. Spend coins on gaps in the grid you actually chose. Spend Rerolls on leaving a country that cannot help that grid. Spend Refreshes when the country is right and the offer is wrong. The Rerolls and Refreshes page is the vocabulary sheet.

The Hourly Shop is not a farm. It is a sink. Prime cards at 100+ OVR rotate about twenty at a time. Check it every cycle. Buy a Prime only when it fits a legal slot and a neighbor tag. A Prime bought “because 100” is how grey lines return. Chemistry still wins; see the chemistry guide.

Redeem codes at the start of a farm block, not the end. GOAT, FUTURE, UNIVERSE, CONSOLE (25 Rerolls and 25 Refreshes), LIMITBREAKER, and DOUBLE are the September 2026 set. They are one-use. They are case-sensitive. Expired tracker strings do not pay. How to redeem is the tap order if the button is hiding.

When to save 200 Rerolls and 200 Refreshes

Community builder Ritinui’s advice, repeated because it works: bank on the order of 200 Rerolls and 200 Refreshes before a dream-team push. That is not an official Bloxheed quest. It is a pile large enough to finish a nation, paint a 4-3-3, and still have swaps left when a Prime or a GOAT slot appears. If you spend the GOAT code the night it lands and log off at zero, you will rebuild the pile the slow way.

When to spend versus when to save:

  • Spend small to fill the first legal eleven and to buy Coin Shop gaps in your captain nation.
  • Save large through 2x weekends and 8-hour rows until the pile looks like a push.
  • Push when three things line up: a finished or nearly finished 2026 grid, a linked eleven near 93, and a shop or GOAT drop you actually want. Then dump Refreshes inside the right countries, not Rerolls into random flags.
  • Do not push the night before a announced update if you can wait. Patch notes and GOAT XI have already shifted card bands once. A 200/200 stack survives a patch. A spent stack does not.

Cup prep is a farm goal, not a farm method. Early cups at a grey 93 pay badly. Use quest coins to buy the missing links, enter when the OVR checklist is clean, win five, and take the 105+ standout. Then go back to the timer. The best team guide is what you build with the pile. This page is how the pile exists.

A healthy week looks boring on purpose. You redeem nothing twice. You start an 8-hour quest when you sit down. You buy two Coin Shop holes in one nation. You ignore the Hourly Shop unless a Prime matches a slot. You glance at the tier list so you do not overpay. You leave the client with more Rerolls than you opened it with. That last sentence is the whole farm. If a session ends with a cooler screenshot and an empty wallet, you did not farm — you rolled.

Keep the 200/200 number in the corner of the lobby like a second OVR. When it is far below, you are in income mode: quests, 2x, codes, cheap XI completions. When it is near, you are allowed to open how to play and actually hunt. Official Roblox links stay on the links hub. There is no verified official Discord or Trello that publishes a better timer than the one already on your quest panel.

Bank the pile, walk away from the tray, and let the 8-hour row finish. The managers who hit 100+ on a free account are not luckier on every Refresh. They are the ones who still had 200 of them when the right country finally showed up.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common squad-building questions.

How long are quests in Build A Football Team?

Current rows run on 8-hour timers. Older videos still mention two-hour quests. Read the timer in your lobby; Early Beta has changed the length before.

Should I buy from the Coin Shop or keep rolling?

Buy specific gaps in the 2026 nation you are finishing. Rolling is for leaving a bad country or hunting inside a good one with Refreshes, not for completing an index by luck.

What is the 200/200 rule?

Community advice (Ritinui and others): save about 200 Rerolls and 200 Refreshes before a dream-team push. It is a pile size, not an official quest.

Do 2x weekends change the farm?

Yes. Leave the client on and collect quests when the lobby or Roblox title shows 2X. That is the fastest legal refill besides codes.

Will Cup Mode break my quest?

Community farmers report that entering a cup server can reset lobby quest progress. Claim the row before you queue. Details on the lock itself sit in the Cup Mode guide.

Are auto-farm scripts required?

No. This page assumes a live client. Community loaders are documented under auto farm. They can break and they can risk the account.
