Build A Football Team Limitbreaker Cards
Ceiling breakers, Limitbreaker quests, and 2030 extras. Community names stay labeled unconfirmed until Bloxheed prints them.
Limitbreakers are the cards that broke the old overall cap in Build A Football Team. Before GOAT XI Editions, they were the headline chase. They are still S-tier on the tier list when they play the printed 4-3-3 slot and link. They are no longer the unique ceiling: official GOAT XI copy says GOAT Edition cards make Limitbreakers look silly.
Bloxheed has not published a complete named Limitbreaker catalogue. This page will not invent one. It covers what the class is, how people chase it, which names are unconfirmed, and when you should ignore the lottery to finish a captain instead.
What a Limitbreaker actually is
A Limitbreaker sits above the previous OVR ceiling. Community odds for the class sit near 0.2%. That figure is not an official table; it is what creators quote from odds menus and sample rolls. Use it as “rare,” not as a calculator you can take to a bank.
They drop from:
- Rare pack / Refresh hits while the Limitbreaker pool is in the live event.
- Limitbreaker Card Quests — a named patch in the patch notes history, with extra ceiling cards added to the chase.
- Later event extras. 2030 Future Stars (late July 2026) added three more Limitbreakers on top of the earlier batch.
They are not the same as:
- Captains — 99 OVR, collection unlock, reliable. See captains.
- Prime 100+ — Hourly Shop, about twenty per cycle, buyable.
- Cup 105+ — five tournament wins after 93 OVR. Route: Cup Mode.
- Breakout — community ~2%, collection-style, not the ceiling class.
- GB / SB stamps — special variants. Letters unknown. A Limitbreaker-era note listed three new GB and two new SB as separate extras.
- GOAT Edition — higher class from the Best XI team.
Community clips have shown enormous named ratings (examples people repeat: high-100s attackers, 113-style defenders). Treat every specific number as a screenshot from that patch. Cup nerfs, 2X weekends, and GOAT XI all retune what “huge” means.
Quests, odds, and unconfirmed names
Quests. When Limitbreaker Card Quests are the live tag, play them. The Rewards / quest UI is the official progress, not a Discord rumour. If the lobby tag has moved to 2030 or GOAT XI, the old quest board may be gone — Early Beta shuts servers during event swaps. Do not AFK through a shutdown and assume the quest still credits.
Odds menu. Creators taught an Odds-menu check during 2030 grinding: look at the live odds for the Limitbreaker class before you dump a stack of Refreshes. If the class is not in the current roll table, you are burning currency on the wrong event. That check is a habit, not a guarantee.
Unconfirmed names. For the three Limitbreakers added around the CONSOLE / 2030 window, comment sections and trackers repeat Beckham, Maldini, and Courtois. Bloxheed has not confirmed those names. This wiki will keep repeating that sentence. If your client shows different nameplates, trust the client. If a thumbnail prints 113 Maldini (1994) or 112 Beckham (2002), that is a community claim, useful as a position hint (LB / midfield / GK) and useless as a legal roster.
2030 extras. The 2030 Future Stars description added eight national teams — Portugal, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Argentina, Brazil, England, France — plus those three additional Limitbreakers and code FUTURE. The nations are official. The three celebrity identifications are not. Redeem FUTURE on codes; do not skip how to redeem if the CODES button is new to you.
Spend Rerolls and Refreshes on Limitbreakers only after:
- The 4-3-3 is legal (how to play).
- Chemistry has a core (chemistry).
- Cup is reachable at 93 OVR.
- At least one 2026 captain is done or nearly done.
A 0.2% card in a grey eleven is a museum piece. Slot priority once you own one matches best players: ST and CBs first, then CM, then GK, wings last. Check the printed position. A Limitbreaker winger does not become a Limitbreaker ST because you wanted a thumbnail.
Auto farm loaders will not improve 0.2% odds in a way this wiki can endorse. They can also break on patches. Read the scripts hub warnings. The reliable grind remains quests, 2X weekends, and not wasting Refreshes while the class is out of the table.
Until Bloxheed prints a named Limitbreaker list, positions and class are the facts; surnames are unconfirmed. Keep your 99 captain in the eleven, chase GOAT Edition if the lobby still says GOAT XI, and treat every Limitbreaker you do own as a slot upgrade you have to link, not as a free pass to ignore the Players Hub collection rules.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common squad-building questions.
What is a Limitbreaker card?
A class above the old OVR ceiling. Community odds sit near 0.2%. GOAT Edition now sits above it per official GOAT XI copy.
Are Beckham, Maldini, and Courtois official Limitbreakers?
Unconfirmed. Trackers and comments use those names for a three-card batch. Bloxheed has not printed the identifications. Trust your client.
How do I get Limitbreakers?
Rare rolls while the class is in the live odds, plus Limitbreaker Card Quests when that patch is active. 2030 Future Stars added three more. There is no Hourly Shop row that sells the class on a timer.
Should I chase Limitbreakers or a 99 captain first?
Finish the captain. Limitbreakers are a lottery. Captains are a checklist. See how to get captains.
Do GOAT Edition cards replace Limitbreakers?
They outrank them on ceiling. A linked Limitbreaker still starts over a grey GOAT you jammed in the wrong slot. Read GOAT Edition.
